Yummy!

AHHHH..Just one of the many joys to living in a big city..

Cold Stone Creamery....

Seriously this ice cream shop should be illegal or at least have some sort of warning posted on the door as to the crazy addiction it could cause. However the price is a bit on the steep end so that, I guess, is at least a bonus because honestly people, this store is just not right!!
Now let me just start out saying that I am NOT a big ice cream fan, so for this place to get me craving my not so favorite dessert you know it has got to be out of this world..hehe
Some friends of ours were in town this last weekend. They of course have been to this tasty- treat store a couple of times and convinced me to go and give it a whirl...That was my first mistake, and now I am hooked. It is just cruel how they give you so many yummy options to choose from and not to mention that the base ice cream is like totally the best that I have ever tasted! I mean Cake Batter Ice Cream?!?! That is just so unfair....Sigh.
The Peanut Butter Cup Perfection is my new best friend and then you slather it with Carmel... seriously, it makes me happy!:-)
However, my new little phase must come to a hault because even though this delicious snack is a killer on my taste buds it could do equal the damage on the ol' waistline, if ya know what I mean.
So I will try to be good and save the CSC runs for special occasions or when family and friends come to visit.
Sooooo, anybody up for a little road trip? LOL

  • Sounds delicious, maybe we will need to make a run for me. Lee did the tile in one of the cold stone creamery's here in Stillwater.

  • OH yeah that stuff is wickedly good. I say wicked because it is cruel caloriewise....lol Den loves it, but I have avoided it like the black plague...We used to eat Ben and Jerry's ice cream and each of us could eat an entire pint, easily, in one sitting and we packed on the magical pounds. Our favorite flavor was "Chubby Hubby"...hahaha how fitting, I needed one that said "Moo-Moo Wifey Poo"!!

    WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed your last post on catching up. The pic of the kids' B-days were great. I can't believe jake is 9. wow. Last night I found our home videos that I hadn't seen in about 4 years. One of them is of Andy's 10th B-day. He was so little!! The time has flown, I know everyone says that, but seriously I can't believe it. Jake will be driving before you know it. Andy got pulled over for the first time last night! EEKS! Luckily no ticket, just a headlight out.

I know this is a huge, long comment, but I am soooo glad you're back!

  • Yummy! That sounds so good. Even the name of the store sounds delicious! It looks like you have been having a fun time for the three months of nonposting. I can't leave much of a comment, because I'm told to get off the computer in a couple minutes, and I still have more blogs to catch up on.

  • Travis and I went one date night. It was very good, the only exception was the children who where being let run around and scream. It took a while to figure out who they were with. It reminded me to try and do better with our children.

  • We love going there too! It was a real problem when my daughter got a job there! LOL She was bringing free ice cream home all the time!

  • I have never ate there before. I think Matt and I walked in one time, and then walked back out when we saw the prices! I'm going to have to try it soon because Christian's coach gave me a small gift card for helping the team. I figured they must be good to be able to still be open with those kind of prices. I'm not real big on ice-cream either; so we'll see how impressed I am. Maybe I'll have to blog about it?

  • Mary,

Since I don't have a snail mail addy for you I wanted to drop you a note here.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Bro. John Freeman. I know he was very special to you and Rusty. He was a very good man, and a wonderful minister. I know he will be greatly missed.

Great for the lips...bad for the hips. I always have to say this as I pass one. :)
